Profile - Kerry Williamson

With more than three decades of experience under his belt Kerry has seen it all. The former Industrial Radiographer’s well-established technical knowledge is a strength that has greatly assisted his role with Weldwell as Regional Sales Manager – Upper North Island.

Kerry has been involved with sales management in the welding equipment and consumable industry for more than 30 years and has accumulated an extensive network of contacts throughout New Zealand. He understands that customer needs often arise at the last minute, sometimes they ‘need it yesterday’ and is always determined to work together to discover a great solution in the nick of time.

Travelling between Waikato, Northland and the Bay of Plenty, his car is his office. You’ll often find Kerry providing solutions for his distributors and their customers from idyllic locations along the roads of New Zealand’s upper North Island.

He rates building relationships as the best part of his job and along with his extensive knowledge, it’s a specialty his distributors and customers have come to rely on when it comes to industry advice. Kerry adapts the individual needs of his distributors and their end users to provide the latest welding methodology and technology.

In addition, Kerry’s determination and knowledge of structural engineering is an advantage to all he works with, leveraging his impressive knowledge to get the best outcomes possible for each and every client. He definitely has his ear to the ground anticipating distributors ongoing requirements before they even arise.

On weekends you’ll find Kerry on his lifestyle block South of Auckland, enjoying the balance between country life and city views. He even has a couple of cows to help mow the lawns and sustain family meals.
